2023 Wedding Bar Trends

Here’s what we’ve been noticing more and more in the bartending service industry that you may want to incorporate into your wedding bar service!

  1. Personalized bar options: Many couples are opting for personalized bar options at their weddings, such as signature cocktails or a build-your-own-flavor cocktail bar. This allows couples to create a unique and memorable experience for their guests that’s tailored to the guest’s preferences. For example, a vodka/lemonade spritzer could have flavor options such as blueberry, strawberry or lavender that your guests could choose from.

  2. Non-alcoholic options: Non-alcoholic options are becoming more popular at weddings, as many couples are looking to provide a range of options for their guests, including those who do not drink alcohol. There are many, many choices for liquor alternatives, and NA beer and wine! Consider adding these options to the bar menu and your guests will be thrilled.

  3. Specialty cocktails: Specialty brands, such as craft beers and artisanal spirits, are becoming more popular at weddings. This trend is driven by a growing interest in unique and craft beverages. Make selections based on where you’re getting married or perhaps from each of your hometowns.

  4. Local and sustainable options: Many couples are opting for local and sustainable options when it comes to their wedding bar service, including locally-sourced ingredients (alcohol made locally, fruit that’s in season, etc.) and eco-friendly packaging. Many couples are also giving favors (i.e. customized drinkware) that can be used during the reception!

  5. Mobile bars: Mobile bars are becoming more popular at weddings, as they offer a “wow factor” focal point that guests will be returning to all night long.
