FAQ

You got Q’s, we’ve got A’s

 Who provides the alcohol?

Due to most states’ liquor laws, we are unable to purchase the alcohol on your behalf. Therefore, the client will be responsible for purchasing their own alcohol. We provide you with a consultation and a customized shopping guide based on the event requirements.

Do you need electricity?

Yes, an outlet would be ideal within 75 feet of where the bar will be located (and we always bring extension cords). If the event location is more remote, we do have other options, so let’s discuss!

Do you have insurance?

Yes, we are insured with general and liquor liability insurance. A certificate of insurance is available upon request.

Are you “licensed bartenders?”

Our bartenders are TIPS trained and certified as required by the state of Michigan.

We’d like a cash bar, can you do that?

Unless you are a non-profit or charitable organization, no, we cannot offer a cash bar service. A liquor license is required to sell any alcohol. Charitable/non-profit organizations can have cash bars with special permits and hire our company to serve.

How far do you travel?

We offer complimentary travel of up to 80 miles roundtrip as part of our service package. Anything further than 80 miles will include a travel fee of $2 per mile. If your location is 2 hours or more travel time from our home base in Grand Rapids, a fee to cover hotel accommodations will also be added.

What types of events do you service?

We love to serve guests at all kinds of events, including weddings, corporate, non-profits, birthdays, reunions, tailgates, festivals, etc.

What is provided with your bartending services?

Our services include transportation of the bar, set up and tear down of the bar area, one professional certified bartender, ice, bar tools, cups, cocktail napkins, garnishes, mixers, and juices. In addition, our service includes assistance in menu planning, and alcohol shopping list, a standard countertop drink menu, and décor add-ons.

If we are not having alcohol at our event can we still use the trailer?

Absolutely! We can use our trailer for any idea you can come up with. You could use it as a mocktail bar, lemonade stand, to serve snow cones, or as a coffee and tea bar. Our mobile bar can even serve as an awesome photo prop or a cake stand! You name it and we’ll make it a reality!

Our venue requires that we use a specific bar service can we just rent the mobile bars?

We are very protective of our bars, but yes, we do occasionally rent our mobile bars to clients for another approved professional catering or bar service to use. Please note that all mobile bar-only rentals will require one of our staff to be present at the event as an attendant.

We’re not sure the bar will fit, can you come to our event location to check?

Yes! We offer complimentary site visits within a 30 mile radius, beyond 30 miles will have a $2 per mile fee.

Do we have to use your mobile bars?

No. Many venues already have a fabulous bar and sometimes our mobile bars simply won’t fit! We are happy to serve from any bar.
