Cucumber Berry Chill Mocktail

Updated: Mar 10, 2020

I picked up a 4 pack of DRY Cucumber Sparkling soda from Aldi's on a whim. It was strategically placed on an end cap and I noticed it while waiting in line to check out. Intrigued by the combination of cucumbers and bubbles, I impulsively snapped it up! (Sadly, I've not been able to find this again in Aldi's, but I did a quick search and I should be able to find it at our local D & W grocery store. Yea!!) Want to know where you can find this in your area? Find out here.

An obvious partner for this soda would be Gin, however, I wanted to create a tasty and refreshing mocktail instead. More and more people are deciding to skip the alcohol in drinks, but still want to enjoy something delicious and different. Mocktails are the perfect option!

I'm happy to say that I came up with a delicious recipe that combines the summer flavors of strawberries, cucumbers, and lavender. Ohhh man, this a taste of summer in a glass! A wonderfully refreshing beverage, perfect for a bridal or baby shower, graduation open house or for any person that wants a special drink sans alcohol. I hope you like it too!

Cucumber Berry Chill Mocktail

1 strawberry, sliced

2 slices of cucumber

0.5 oz lime juice

0.5 lavender simple syrup

3 oz. DRY Sparkling Cucumber soda

Muddle strawberry and cucumber slices, lime juice and lavender syrup in a glass. Add ice. Top off with cucumber soda. Give it a little stir & enjoy!

Give this recipe a try and let me know what you think! Will you be trying more mocktails this year? I know I will!
